Love changes everything

"You will never know true happiness until you have truly loved, and you will never understand what pain really is until you have lost it." I used to think I was in love with the perfect person, the one who made me smile, the one that really care about my feelings and my life. I was happy with with what I got because I never knew something better.... But then truly love came and changed everything I knew it opened my eyes and helped me to see beyond my limits, nothing of what I knew so far was real... I was living an illusion, the creation of my mind. True love set me free. Taught me about friendship, understanding, patience, faith and perseverance. Love showed me what truly happiness is, a feeling that can bring together two hearts that are miles apart. Now that I have known what love is I will fight for it and I will die with it.

My country Nicaragua is very rich in culture and traditions. I remember when I was a kid in the darkest nights of the rural town I used to live many stories about ghosts were related. We (the kids) used to love hearing the tales but after that, we were scared of walking alone around the house.  One of the most popular tales I remember is La Carretanagua. La Carretanagua is considered the embodiment of Nicaraguan folklore and mythology. The tale is a blend of past realities and imaginative oral culture. Apparently, the story of La Carretanagua is based on caravans of Spaniards who conquered the land during the 16th century. As the ox carts moved through the land the Spaniards would plunder the Indian settlements, taking their gold and supplies as well as capturing slaves. En Nicaragua, país de enorme tradición y carácter fiestero, la celebración de la Semana Santa es un momento de interesantes procesiones multitudinarias, vacaciones de verano en las que se busca diversión y relax, y momento también de expresiones culinarias propias de la fecha. La Semana Santa conmemora la muerte y resurrección de Jesús en las culturas cristianas, de la cuales Nicaragua forma parte. Se celebra a finales del mes de marzo o inicios de Abril, y su fecha es decidida por la jerarquía de la iglesia católica en dependencia de las fases de la luna. La cristiandad prohíbe el consumo de carnes rojas durante la Semana Santa. Chocolita

Casi siempre al finalizar el dia de trabajo (El cual en su mayoria de las veces es arduo), me gusta relajarme un poco, algunas veces simplemente me siento a pensar y por qué no, tambien a soñar.  Creo que cada cosa alrededor nuestro trae recuerdos de momentos que nos han marcado y por alguno u otra razón están presentes en nuestras memorias. Mas que una cosa, diría que el sabor de la chocolita (bebida a base de chocolate) me trae muy gratos recuerdos: De la secundaria, pues siempre a la hora del Recreo habia una bolsa de chocolita en mi mano, acompañado de una enchilada, algunas veces acompañada de una dona que era devorada rápidamente en un abrir y cerrar de ojos.  Las chocolitas tambien me recuerdan de mi color, color de chocolate como dirían algunos de mis amigos, del cual me siento orgulloso por representar el color de la cultura latina y la raza mestiza, el cual me hizo ganar el nickname de Choco y el cual me hace sonreir cada vez que viene a mis recuerdos.
